WHICH COURSE SHOULD I COMPLETE?

The Certificate III in Fitness and the Certificate IV in Fitness in Personal Training is the start point for a professional career in fitness and with FIA you can also go on to complete a Diploma of Fitness - Fitness Specialist, Diploma of Remedial Massage - Remedial Massage Therapist and/or Certificate III in Sports Trainer. FIA courses are designed to provide a flexible delivery learning experience and are articulated with each other, making it easy to “build on” to your current qualifications.

UNIVERSITY ARTICULATION

ACU National recognises the Diploma of Fitness and Diploma of Sport run by Fitness Institute Australia (FIA). The FIA and ACU National have an articulation agreement where by ACU National recognises the courses mentioned above which assists entry into the Bachelor of Exercise Science for those students who have gained good results in the Diploma.

FIA ACCREDITATION

The FIA specialises in the preparation of fitness trainers for the general health and fitness community and is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) accredited with the Vocational Education Training Authority Board (VETAB) and conducts vocational qualifications from the National Fitness Industry Training Package (SRF06), Sports training Package (SRS 03) and the National Health Industry package (HLT 07). They are Nationally Recognised Qualifications under the NSW VET Act 2005. All FIA courses are nationally and internationally recognised and the FIA is also the only fitness education provider to have a number of its Diploma programs articulated with several leading universities.
